Hey gang,

So just wanted to touch base that due to a light trickling of deposits over the last few days, I’m going to extend the deposit deadline another week. This means $20 non-refundable deposits will be accepted until next Friday, 7/16 at 12 noon.

I have cancelled the big bus we had for BOTH trips, and am taking a chance on being able to re-reserve it (or one of about the same size) if we hit 30 deposits by that target date.

In the meantime, I am also looking into a smaller bus or a van if we fall short of 30. If the price is right, we’ll go from there. Everyone who has a deposit down already, we’ll be in communication regarding this, but just a friendly heads up that a van may mean everyone would have to kick in a few more bucks. Of course, if that’s a problem you WILL be refunded).

Also, due to the limited size of a van, this means some people WILL get shut out, regardless of whether they put money down ahead of time. Ie. if we have 24 deposits down and the van fits 17, then 7 people will be out of luck. Priority will be given to those who put their deposits down first and anyone who falls out of that bracket will essentially be put on stand-by with no guarantees of a ride.

The best way to make sure THAT doesn’t happen? Bring friends so we definitely hit 30 and can spring for a bigger bus.

But I’m getting ahead of myself and that’s why these customers/this issue will be handled separately from the standard ADBT mailings.

Hello NYC area wrestling fans!

In 2009, the CHIKARA NYC Bus Trip Initiative set out on a mission: to bridge the gap between the greatest wrestling ersario Yin” events, we wanted to expand a bit – with both our passengers and the companies we work with.  With CHIKARA partnering up with Dragon Gate USA over the summer, we found the opportunity to do just that when we ran a SOLD-OUT trip to DGUSA’s premiere event “Open the Historic Gate.”

Now, after success with both CHIKARA and Dragon Gate USA under our belt, we’ve decided it’s time to shed the long-winded name of our company and re-focus our goals.  We will no longer be confined to any one promotion. We’ve learned that through constantly evolving, cross-promoting with new partners, and watching the stars of tomorrow in the various but very best rings in the northeast United States… we’re building towards something even better.

And as the state of American independent wrestling becomes richer with talent and fan-support, we are proud to announce the re-christening of our company…

Ring of Honor presents…

ROH on HDNET Tapings @ The (ECW) Arena in Philadelphia, PA

Friday – January 8th, 2010 – 8 pm

This will be the VERY FIRST ROH event of 2010, and will also be the event following NYC’s “Final Battle 2009” on 12/19.  What will the status quo of Ring of Honor be following the events of “Final Battle”?  And will Jim Cornette keep his contract with wrestling fans going into the new year?

Price: $40 (includes one GA ticket, one round trip reservation, and driver gratuity)

Bus departs NYC at 4:00 pm (please arrive by 3:30).

**Meeting for pick-up on 9^th Avenue between 42^nd & 43^rd Streets, in front of Starbucks, a block away from Port Authority.**

Bus arrives back in NYC by 1:00 am that same evening.

A TOUCH OF CLASS (Season 9 Premiere) @ The (ECW) Arena in Philadelphia, PA

Sunday – January 31^st, 2009 – 4 pm

Though many questions were answered at “Three-Fisted Tales” in November, far more were raised once the BDK’s plot was put into motion and the tecnicos were left crushed and humbled in the closing moments of Season 8.  A “war” has indeed arrived on CHIKARA’s front steps now that the BDK possesses the Eye of Tyr and has succeeded in infiltrating the lockerroom, activating many sleeper agents from within.  With a promise of new members to be revealed, how will CHIKARA retaliate?  Will alliances be forged between tecnico and rudo?  Or have the seeds of distrust already seaped down far enough to crack the entire promotion’s foundation?

Price: $50 (includes one GA ticket, one round trip reservation, and driver gratuity)

Bus departs NYC at 12:30 pm (please arrive by 12 noon).

Reservations are on a first-come, first-paid, first-served basis.  Upon receipt of payment, passengers will be added to the roll call roster and sent a confirmation e-mail letting them know they have a seat on the bus.

Each trip includes luxurious charter bus service to the arena door.  Why drive and waste money on gas and tolls, when you can relax, congregate with other wrestling fans, and leave the driving and navigating to us.

Estimated arena arrival times leave a little over an hour for pre-show dining, stretching, what have you.
